January 9 – There will be a mobile of 85 origami butterflies. Each butterfly represents a child at St. John’s. We have about 85 children from newborn to high school. At baptism, we promise to nurture, love, and teach our children as well as support the parents. Kids have always been a vital presence at St. John’s.
During the month of January, we will be celebrating our commitment to St. John’s through our treasure, time, and talents. Kids, Harvest, and Music are programs that St. John’s puts a lot of energy, creativity, and commitment into.
Ways that you can commit to the kids at St. John’s are:
Treasure – donate money to buy Sunday School supplies or collect and give the following Sunday School materials: sandpaper, birthday candles, band-aids, wire hangers
Time & Talent – volunteer a Sunday to teach or assist our ARK Program. Lessons are user friendly and adaptable to different teaching styles.
