The kids held a journal & bake sale to raise money for Heifer Project International. With money raised from the sale and other donations, the kids raised $700! With that money, they purchased the following animals: Water Buffalo ($250) Provide rich milk that is high in protein and nutrients Make farming easier by tilling fields

The kids in grades K-5th grade learned about the Heifer Project. In class, they prepared for a bake sale to raise money to buy animal(s) for a village by making signs. Together with their parents, they baked items for the bake sale. The kids raised a couple hundred dollars.
