In July 2017, we went to Heifer Ranch in Perryville, AR. We survived 95% humidity, heat index of 110 degrees. We learned about global poverty as well as caring for the farm. March 9 – the youth group will be hosting a bake sale. The proceeds will go towards their summer trips to offset the costs of travel, food, and scholarships.
June 12-14, fifteen middle schoolers headed to Coloma, CA to camp, rock climb, and white water raft. We had professional guides from Rock-n-Water leading us the whole time. Below are the pictures. As you can tell, we had a great time! BIG thanks to Jon Hee who drove us down there and picked us up.
